THE MYTHIC WAY

An honest myth never aims for objective truth; it aims only for subjective truth. It is an impossible attempt, through the form of story, to explain the infinite mystery of existence, and to offer a sense of meaning for one's place within it. The value of any given myth is found in how well it accomplishes these tasks and functions as subjectively true for any given person.
