About The Mythic Way
The Mythic Way is a project that explores personal and collective mythology as a path for creating a world infused with soul, meaning, beauty and possibility. Imagination and story are held as fundamental aspects of existence that hold the key to unlocking profound and marvellous (and desperately needed) dimensions of reality.
The world of the early 21st Century is a world that is suffering from an impoverishment of imagination. Increasingly oppressed by mechanistic systems of politics, economics and technology, humanity is being funnelled into a narrowing vision of future possibilities. Unfortunately, few of these diminishing possibilities are proving to be aligned with the flourishing of the human soul.
The answer to this problem is the unfettering of the imagination. It is the understanding that our reality is our collective story, that this story is only limited by our imaginations, and that our imaginations are unlimited.
Deeply inspired by the works of Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, James Hillman and Alan Moore, among others, The Mythic Way weaves together ideas of psychology, spirituality, archetypal symbology (and maybe even a little magic). The intention is to unlock and throw open the door of possibility.
